Goals
- Assist researchers to take full advantage and extend the
capabilities of next-generation internets
- Facilitate distance learning and educational content distribution globally
- Access next-generation internets to advance collaboration, research,
education and health care
- Develop advanced technologies with commercial value, assist industry
to integrate these technologies and build a highly competent work force
- Support state and community development goals
- Build a regional partnership between educational and corporate research institutions in the Pacific Northwest to access Internet2
